The ecosystem supports broad hosting and implementation choice. Time, cost, security, and editability depend on the agency's selected stack and maintenance practice.

Closed AI website builders

Generation, editing, hosting, and commercial terms are usually provided as one vendor service.

Export and runtime portability vary by product and plan. Buyers should verify each provider's current export, data, hosting, and cancellation terms directly.

All-in cost ledger

Every AI job stores provider, model, input, cached input, output, reasoning, and estimated EUR cost. Gross-margin review also includes storage, email, backups, deployment, support, and payment costs.

Spend controls

Allowance, per-request reservation, project-month, organization-month, and platform-day limits are enforced before provider work starts. The last accepted preview remains unchanged when a limit blocks new work.

Ownership

Static and CodeY CMS downloads remain available for self-hosting. The agency controls its site files, content, data, domain account, and ongoing client relationship.

Domains

Domains are not resold by CodeY. The customer's domain provider remains the billing and ownership surface.
